The Country Trader Mission
Originally called The Rural Trader, The Country Trader has filled a need for our readers to advertise at an affordable rate since 1989. Our goal is to provide friendly, reliable service to the readers we serve, which now includes many readers nationwide.
The Country Trader in newsprint covers Sumner (Gallatin, Portland, White House, Westmoreland), Macon (Lafayette), and Trousdale (Hartsville) Counties in Tennessee. In Kentucky, we cover Allen (Scottsville) and Simpson (Franklin) Counties.

The Country Trader is published weekly online and can be found bi-weekly in print in racks and on counter-tops of convenience stores, restaurants, and retail locations. New issues are available online on Wednesday of each week.

Our Classified deadline is Monday by 12:00 noon. Display deadline Monday 12:00 noon. Deadline to reserve your display advertising space is Friday before the next Thursday publication. Classified ads may be submitted by mail using our mail-in form in the paper (be sure to include payment), by email classifieds@countrytraderonline.com or you may place your ad on our website.
